Our Laser Technology – The Astanza Trinity

ExtINKtion is very excited to bring the Astanza Trinity laser to Monique’s Body Art. The Trinity laser is a Q-switched Nd:YAG and Q-switched ruby system that combines the power of two individual lasers to produce three versatile wavelengths. Not only does the Trinity provide full-spectrum removal for all tattoo colors, but it can also safely treat all skin types I through VI.

Featuring three wavelengths, 532 nm, 694 nm, and 1064 nm, the Astanza Trinity can safely and effectively treat virtually any tattoo in the fewest amount of treatments. Each of the Trinity’s wavelengths targets a specific group of colors. When used together, the Trinity can remove all tattoo ink colors, even resistant green and blue inks that are considered untreatable with standard lasers.

1064 nm and 532 nm wavelengths are standard to almost any laser tattoo removal system. These are the most popular wavelengths used and are ideal for treating majority of tattoos. The 1064 nm wavelength is ideal for targeting dark colors like black, dark blue, and dark green. The 532 nm wavelength is most effective for treating warm, bright colors like red, orange, yellow, brown, and violet. Together, these wavelengths treat 90-95% of tattoos.

However, a special wavelength is needed to successfully treat multi-colored tattoos containing bright green and blue colors. Vivid green, teal, turquoise, and other bright blue and green inks require a special ruby wavelength like our Trinity’s 694 nm. 1064 nm and 532 nm alone cannot treat these colors. Only Monique’s Body Art can completely remove stubborn green and blue pigments that other laser clinics cannot!
